That is the meaning of her name. Nefertiti (1370 BC – 1330 BC) was the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten.

As I delve into drawing the most beautiful women in history- it is clear that she is widely believed to be the most beautiful woman to have ever lived. That is one fantastic title.

She wore elaborate gold jewelry, developed her own form of make-up (plant juice), and was considered by her husband as his equal! Nefertiti and the Pharaoh worshiped one God- The Sun God “Aten”, and made their people do the same.

Some scholars think that after the death of her husband, Nefertiti ruled briefly as “Neferneferuaten” She is believed to have died during a plague just a few years in to Tutankhamun’s reign.
